June 1 Miss Maggie Lee Morris, 54, died at' Waynesboro Community Hospital this morning at four o'clock following a lingering illness. She was born May 25 1897, in I Albemarle County, a daughter of John A. and Leeaner Morris.

Surviving are her father, now a resident of this city; six sisters, I Mrs. J. C. Garrison, Croze Mrs. Sallie Baylor, Mrs.

J. W. Webb, Mrs. Beatrice Dressier, Mrs. Hattie Mae Hudson, and Mrs.

Katie M. Baylor, all of Waynesboro; two brothers, Robert Morris, Croze and Pulton W. Morris, Waynesboro. Miss Morris was a member of the Waynesboro Baptist Church and Woman's Benefit Association Review 34, of Covington. The body will remain at McDow-Tyree Funeral Home until Thursday morning when it will be placed In the Crozet Baptist Church at eleven o'clock.
