She was born June 13, 1952, in Augusta County, a daughter of Mattie Lee Morris of Waynesboro and the late Donald M. Saufley.

Surviving are her husband, Larry C. Small; two daughters, Stephanie Small "Buffy" Russell of Suffolk, and Angela Small of Waynesboro; and one sister, Camilla Rose Sparks of Powhatan. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.

David L. Mullenax, 43 CHURCHVILLE David Lynn Mullenax of 220 Hupman died Saturday morning (Dec. 6, 2003) at his residence. He was born on June 25, 1960, in Bartow, W.Va., a son of the late Ralph Luther and Dorene Dare (Simmons) Mullenax. Mr.

Mullenax was a selfemployed carpenter and home repairman. In addition to his wife, Mary (Hassett) Mullenax, family includes a daughter, Amber Lynn Brown of Staunton; two brothers, Ralph L. and Alan L. Mullenax, both of Staunton; and a sister, Lisa S. Wood of North Carolina.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Carol H. Propst, 62 STAUNTON Carol Jean (Hoover) Propst, widow of Clyde Oscar Propst, of Staunton, died at 2:25 a.m.
