Calvin Coolidge Martin, 73, of Camden, died on Thursday (May 21, 1998). He ws born at Craigsville, a son of James Hudson and Cleo-la (Clifton) Martin. He was an Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, having served in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Patricia Ann (Morgan) Martin of Camden; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jimmy Boheler, and daughter, Cindy Martin of Camden; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Roxanne Martin of a son, Russell Calvin Martin of Rock Hill; four stepdaughters, Frqnces Ann Perry of Gilford, Stephanie Bressler of Kershaw, Sandy Watts of Westville and Tosha Rebbles of Camden; a step-son, Eddie Price of McBee; a sister, Rosalie Davis of Craigsville; two grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Malvern Hill Baptist Church, with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from tonight at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Frederick Louvane Fox and Gail Peters Fox of Harrisonburg. Matthew was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Woodberry Forrest in 1992 where he was co-captain Of the swim team. In 1996 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bowdoin College in Maine with a major in psychology and a minor in environmental studies. At the present time he was continuing his studies in horticulture. Matthew had traveled extern-sively in Europe and Australia.

He was involved with environmental projects in Oregon and Australia and was employed with Dr. and Mrs. EE. Comer at Hidden Acres Greenhouse in Weyers Cave. Besides his parents, surviving are a twin brother, Benjamin Scott Fox of Capitola, California; an older brother, Jonathan Frederick Fox of Boston, grandmother, Norma Drake of Augusta, Maine; an aunt, Ellen Fox Wygal of Manassas; two cousins, Jonathan F.

Sanborn of Providence, R.I.; Michael McFar-land of Springfield; and a dear friend, Cynthia Ann Grant of Norfolk. A memorial service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Monday morning at the home of Dr. and Mrs. EE.

Comer near Cross Keys on State Route 276. The service will be conducted by Dr. John Sloop. Matthew's body will be donated to the Virginia Anatomical Program in Richmond. The family will receive friends at the Fox home Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Way of Harrisonburg or mental health services. Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Trobaugh Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Pd Ob Frank B. Click DAVENPORT, Fla. Frank Burkholder Click, 85, of Davenport and formerly of Bridgewa-ter, died on Thursday (May 21 1998) at his residence.

He was born at Bridgewater on Aug. 21, 1912, a son of John S. and Ada (Burkholder) Click. He was educated in Rockingham County (Va.) schools and attended Bridgewater College. He was a registered professional engineer with the Virginia Department of Highways before retiring in 1975.

He was a former member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church at Winter Haven. On June 24, 1934, he married Evelyn Randolph Click, who died on June 10, 1996. Surviving are a son, Charles W. Click of Monrovia, three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday at Lindsey Harrisonburg (Va.) Funeral Home by the Rev. Margaret H. Click, with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m.

Monday at the funeral home. A service will be conducted at 2 p. m. on Sunday at Henry Funeral Home by the Rev. A.T.

Underwood, with burial at Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Montebello, with rites by Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339. Pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service. The family will receive friends from tonight at the funeral home. Ralph E.

Coyner STUARTS DRAFT Ralph E. Coyner, 81, of Rt. 1, Box 387, died on Thursday (May 21, 1998) at his residence. He was born on March 8, 1917, at Kentucky, a son of William Houston and Lelia (Whitesell) Coyner. He was employed by the Waynesboro DuPont plant from 1938 until his retirement in 1979, was a Navy veteran and a membner of Stuarts Draft VFW Post 9339.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy M. Coyner, on March 15, 1997, and three brothers, Gilbert, Willis and Melvin Coyner. Surviving are a son, Richard C. Coyner of Stuarts Draft; two daughters, Betty Matchett of Staunton and Nancy Beyeler of Stuarts Draft; four brothers, Willard, Calvin, Russell and Leonard Coyner; three sisters, Netta Mae Holton, Gladys Crosby and Ellen Hartmen; eight children, Tamara Howard, Mary Pile, Jeffrey Bradley, David Mattchett, Richard D. Coyner, Cindy Campbell, Cheryl Yoder and Roxanne Harris; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at White Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery by the Rev. James Chappell. 24477. Iscie Lee Mullenax CIRCLEVILLE, W.Va. Iscie Lee Mullenax, 96, of Circleville, died on Friday (May 22, 1998) at Grant Memorial Hospital. She was born at East Dry Run on Dec. 4, 1901, a daughter of Clay and Effie Mae (Fox) Simmons.

Her husband, J.H. Mullenax, died on July 3, 1955. She attended Pendleton County schools and Shepard College and was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church and Circleville Home Demonstration Club. She taught school for a number of years. Surviving are two daughters, Genevieve Thompson of Stuarts Draft, and Arlene Rodriguez-Berriz of Oakland, Calif; two sons, Paul and Garland Mullenax, both of Circleville; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter. A service willl be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Circleville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Earl Bible, with burial at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, River-ton. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin.

Memorials may be made to Circleville United Methodist Church or North Fork Rescue Squad. Matthew T. Fox Matthew Todd Fox, 24, of Harrisonburg, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, of suicide. STAUNTON A Churchvill man was charged with failing t( yield the right-of-way after hi vehicle struck another car on Ya 275 at the intersection wit Churchville Avenue at 12:15 p.m Friday, according to police. Police said a juvenile fronl Staunton was traveling west orl Va.

275 and stopped at the inter section. A car driven by Thomai R. Park, 65, of 1025 Scenic High way, Churchville, was travelin behind the juvenile. Park slowed down at the intersection while looking east onto Churchville Avenue, saw the juvenile's car but was unable to stop in time according to police. Police said Park's vehicle struck the juve nile's car in the left rear and he was charged.

Police estimated damage to the juvenile's car at $1,000 and dam age to Park's 1994 Ford pickup at Hit and run STAUNTON A car parked in the Dollar General pamng lot was'hit and damaged at 2:45 p.m. Friday, according to police. Police said the 1997 Toyota sedan, owned by Antha and Gretchen Robertson of HCR 33, Box 49, Staunton, was properly parked in the parking lot when an unknown vehicle backed out of a parking space, struck the car and left the scene. Police said the only physical evidence left at the scene was a white transfer of paint on the vie-; tims' car. The suspect's car-should have minor damage, possibly on the right quarter panel of the car, according to police.

Driver charged STAUNTON A woman driving a transit bus owned by the city of Staunton was charged with failing to yield the right-of-way after the vehicle hit a car at the intersection of Donaghe and Lambert streets at 8 a.m. Thursday, accordng to police. Police said Brenda A. Marshall, 47, of 507 Montgomery Road, was stopped for a yield sign on Lambert Street facing west at the intersection as a car driven by Scott Kingsley, 50, of 1201 Ferri-er Court, passed in front of her.

Ms. Marshall pulled out and the bus struck Kingsley's car, according to police. Police estimated damage Kingsley's 1988 Chevrolet at $2,000 and damage to the bus at- $1,000. Crash reported CRAIGSVILLE Two cars which met in the curve of the road on Va. 682 one and one-tenth miles east of Va.

601 hit each other on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m., according to police. Police said the cars, driven by John 0. Marsh III, 42, of HCR 32, Box 8, Middlebrook, and Christopher W. Hampton, 25, of 2324 S. Lewis Covington, met in the curve of the road.

The back end of Marsh's car swung out into the road and struck Hampton's car in the side. Police estimated damage to Marsh's 1986 Chevrolet pickup, at $500 and damage to Hampton's 1995 Chevrolet owned by Carolina Telephone- and Telegraph, at $2,000. Hoover STAUNTON, VA Mildred 3 Elizabeth (Gilbert) Hoover, 73, of 2407 Fourth slipped away to be with her Lord at 1 1 a.m. Fri-day (May 22, 1998) at her home. She was born March 17, 1925, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Levi Forest and Zula (Blackwell) Gilbert. She was a former member of the Annex United Methodist "Church, but transferred to the "Harriston Christian Center on April 22, 1990. Through the years she served her Lord in a number of leadership positions: Sunday School teacher, Evange-vk lism Chairman, a Certified in Lay speaker, and active in Lay-: Witness Missions.

Meeting old -J-, and new friends was a speciality with her as she witnessed God's -love touching hurting hearts. She was a graduate of Beverley h. Manor High School Class of 1944 and Dunsmore Business College on Dec. 21, 1945. i.

She was an employee of the r. Waynesboro Community Hospital Dietary Department for eight years and retired from Stanley 'Furniture Company of Waynesboro with 13 years of service.
