Paul A. Kellogg, will speak on the Dominican Republic. Bishop Kellogg is the first resident Episcopal bishop in that country. Very much a young missionary church, "La Iglesia Episcopal Dominicana" is beginning the process of a change to the status of a self-supporting national church. Mrs.

Kellogg was born and reared in Saratoga Springs, N. and was graduated from Barnard College. Prior to going to the Dominican Republic she and the bishop spent his ministerial years in the Diocese of Albany and Delaware. The double ring ceremony was performed at two o'clock in the afternoon by the Rev. Robert Van Lew before an altar decorated with baskets of white gladioli. Mrs. Virginia Rufenacht, Bel Air, presented a program of nuptial music. The bride is a daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. George R. Greer, 111 S. Bond Bel Air. The bridegroom is a son of Mr.

and Mrs. Minor J. Zimmerman, Mt. Solon, Va. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of white organza with a chantilly lace bodice and scooped neckline.

Her veil fell from a cap of matching lace with pearls. She carried an old fash ioned bouquet of white rose buds Maid of honor was Miss Judy Testerman, Bel Air. Best man was Mr. Irvin Zimmerman, Mt. Solon, brother of the bridegroom.

and Mrs. Charles W. Crowe for their family reunion. At noon, a bountiful dinner was! served and the group used the Lord's Prayer as its table blessing. The afternoon was spent in playing games and recalling past events and experiences.

AGNOR Observe Wedding Anniversary RAPHINE Mr. and Mrs. A. Agnor, Raphine, are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today. They were married Sept.

12, 1911, at Raphine by the Rev. W. D. Eye. The couple has two sons, Arthur B.

Agnor Teneck, N. and Charles E. Agnor, Tucson, and one daughter, Mrs. R. N.

Wade, Steeles Tavern. They also have four grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Agnor are members of Mt.

Carmel Presbyterian Church at Raphine. For approximately 60 years, he had been a blacksmith. Mrs. Agnor was a telephone operator for 16 years. Mrs.

Agnor is the former Mattie Brown, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Brown.

Chew of Lynchburg, formerly of Staun ton, took place Aug. 22, in Fort Hill Methodist Church, Lynchburg. The Rev. James D. White per formed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Vir ginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, where she Is employed. The bridegroom was graduated from Virginia Military Institute and is on the teaching staff at Virginia Episcopal School. Miss McWhorter, Mr. Swats Are Married DEERFIELD, Sept. 12 Mr.

Mrs. Swats is a graduate of Churchville High School and Eli-! zabeth Brant School of Business She is employed by Hays Chev rolet, Staunton. Mr. Swats is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Harry Swtas, Deerfield. He is a graduate of Churchville High School and is employed by the State Highway Department, Staunton. The couple is residing in their newly purchased home, Rt. 1, Churchville. the social hall of the church by the bride's parents.

Mrs. Hollis is a senior at Radford College. Mr. Hollis is serving in the U. S.

Navy and is stationed in Boston, Mass. HENRY Women of custodian of the Un ited thank offering and diosesan president. She and Bishop Kellog have two daughters, a granddaughter, and a grandson residing in the United States. The opportunity to hear first hand about a Latin American neighbor is particularly well timed. The Council of United Church Women has chosen for this year, as a special study project, countries lying south of the U.S.

St, John's will welcome all in terested in hearing Mrs. Kellogg speak. The women of the church will supply dessert and beverage, but ask that their guests bring a sandwich. Lunch will be served at noon with Mrs. Kellogg speaking imme diately afterward.

All exhibits, to be in the Virginia State National Guard Armory and the United States Reserve Marine Armory on Reserve are to be open to the public between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily.

The formal opening of "Color and Fashion for Living," is to be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, following a coffee hour for exhibitors. At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, "Fashions With a Flair," is to be presented by apparel stores in Roanoke.
