. i ii mi A. STEPHEN FULTZ SR. A. Stephen Fultz Sr., 86, of 431 Glenn Ave. died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 1, 1985) at his residence after an illness of five months. Mr. Fultz was born Oct. 10, 1899 in Rockbridge County, Va., a son of the late Albert E. and Martha Parker Fultz. He was a graduate of Raphine High School and Dun-smore Business College. Mr. Fultz was with Planters Bank and Trust Company for 23 years, Deputy County Clerk for 10 years, and Treasurer of the city of Staunton for 24 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church where he served on the Official Board and was church treasurer for a number of years. He was a 60-year Masonic member of Staunton Lodge No. 13, AF&AM. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Ogden Fultz whom he married Dec. 6, 1922; a son, A. Stephen Fultz Jr., Staunton; a granddaughter, Martha F. O'Brien, Manassas; a grandson, Michael Fultz, Winchester; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey Fultz and Allison Fultz; a sister, Mrs. Mabel F. Hester, Staunton, and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 3, 1985 in Thornrose Cemetery conducted by the Rev. J. Wade Mum-ford. Active pallbearers will be Oscar R. Holtz, Walter W. Donald, John E. Stoddard, Jr., Harry E. Baylor, John L. Fretwell, A. Russell Thomas and Carlyle E. Wilkerson.
